Co-Coaching
This specially tailored session is designed to explore options and create supportive solutions for the workplace, in a mediated and stress-free setting between yourself and your manager.
What is it?
Co-Coaching includes aspects of condition awareness, disability impact training and coping strategies.
The need for this was born out of client feedback and interactions, where coping strategies that had been formed were unable to be implemented due to workplace policies or practices. If this has been your experience, then discussing these in full with your tutor and manager would enable an opportunity to discuss these changes in the workplace and how to implement them in your role.
The sessions will allow for you and your manager to communicate openly and honestly about disabilities and their impacts on your current situation.
Sessions could cover:
- Neurodiversities (Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, ADHD and Autism – either individually or together)
- Mental Health
- Vision Loss
- Hearing Loss
- Neurological Conditions (e.g. Multiple Sclerosis, Strokes, Epilepsy and TBI/ABI)
- Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME), Fibromyalgia and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome
- Ergonomic Pain, Fatigue and Mobility
- Workplace policies, practices and reasonable adjustments
“Co-coaching has helped me understand my condition and has given me practical solutions that I can use at work with the support from my manager.”
